There’s been a cloudy effect in Jack’s eyes recently, similar to a blind person’s eyes.
That was a test of how long he could hold our eyes and attention. As we know from his PAX appearance and his “YOU STOPPED PAYING ATTENTION!” line, he gets pretty pissed off when we get careless.
Perhaps he’s trying to blind us too – to the Egos’ helplessness, to reality, to time’s brokenness, to his true nature, to his plans…Who knows? The one thing we’ve always been sure of is that he needs our eyes.
James deserves a day off to relax, gather his thoughts and remember the good things of life <3

Never fear, Connor probably just realized that he needed to go to the bathroom too, so they tried to follow Daddy and ended up turned around.
