“Jackie! Jackie, you’ve gotta help me, they’re gone!”
“Whoa, Chase, slow down,” Jackie ordered as he saved his current program and came out of his computer chair, hand tightening on his phone. “What’s going on?”
“Bri and Connor!” Chase nearly screeched, tears in his voice. “I’m so stupid, I – I left them for one second to go to the bathroom, I told them to stay right where I left them but when I came back they were gone! T-They know not to go with any strangers, they know to scream if anyone tries to take them but I d-don’t know where they could’ve gone! You’ve gotta help me find them, please!”
“Tell me where you are!”
